Further Afield

Each member of the church is encouraged to see how they can serve God where they live and work, but we are also aware of the wider world and try to support people who are overseas with whom we have connections.

Dave & Jenny

Dave and Jenny are working in China, teaching English in a local college. This is a very different environment for them and we remember them as they settle and develop friendships, learn the language and understand their new surroundings.

Elvis & Yeraldina

We are also delighted that we can support two children in South America through an excellent organisation called Toybox. We get regular updates from Elvis and Yeraldina, which are available to see on one of the notice boards in the church building.

Katherine Smith

Katherine has given a year to work for International Justice Mission as a Communications Intern. She will be responsible for reporting on the work of IJM in the region that she is assigned to. She was going to be in India, but this has not been possible for reasons unknown to any of us, but she is now looking forward to being used in South East Asia.
