Sundays
We meet together every Sunday at 10.30am in our building at the bottom of Butcher’s Hill, Fivehead. Our services are relaxed in style and include prayers, songs, Bible readings, and a message. The music is led by a music group and usually includes both contemporary and traditional songs. We also value time for reflection and response. Our services usually last around one hour. We always serve refreshments after the service and consider this an important part of our Sunday gatherings as it gives us opportunity to talk and encourage one another.
We have groups for children and young people during our Sunday services (see below). All of our children's/youth leaders and helpers comply with our Safeguarding Policy to ensure a safe environment for young people.
On the third Sunday of the month there is an all-age service where the children and young people stay with the adult congregation for the whole service and we sing, pray and learn together.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we share Communion together as a part of the morning service.
There are various other church activities during the week including Tuesday evening Homegroup, WOW (Women On Wednesday), MOT (Men On Thursday), and a monthly Men’s Breakfast.
All Sunday morning services are available live on Zoom.
Dates of all church events and bookings can be found on our
Church Calendar
Sunday Rocks!
Children 0 - 11yrs
We aim to give children the opportunity to explore Bible stories and themes through a variety of activities, stories, crafts and opportunities for reflection and developing worship. We encourage younger children to encounter the love of Jesus through play, simple story telling, songs and other hands-on activities. We realise that we are wired to play and so we want our children to have every opportunity to do this. Whenever possible, we try to use the outdoor spaces that we have because this is a really important part of experiencing and enjoying the world God made.
TEN30
Youth 11 - 18yrs
TEN30 is a youth club that will be running from February 2024 on Sunday mornings at 10.30am - midday at FBC. Aimed at young people in school years 7-13, we aim to create a safe, fun, welcoming environment for young people whether they have a Christian faith or not. Includes brunch, hot chocolates, tuck shop, games and activities.
Youth Café
During term time, at 7.30pm the doors of The Stable are opened specifically for 11-19 year olds. You are welcome to come and go (with parental permission where appropriate) as you would in any other cafe. We offer the same drinks as the daytime cafe, but at a reduced price, plus snacks and free squash! We open until 9.00pm (last hot drinks served at 8.45pm). There is free WiFi and a few games if you want to play, or you can just come along and enjoy!
